ASIS PSP® Exam Study Program  - Updated content! ASIS PSP® (Physical Security Professional) is a Board certification, which is recognised across the world. When you have passed your ASIS PSP exam, you can use the post-nominals ‘PSP’, for example ‘Kate Smith PSP’. Core content Physical security assessment Application, design and integration of physical security systems Implementation of physical security measures How you will study: Online learning (self-study) Upon registering your place, you’ll join the online learning platform which hosts the study materials. There are five modules, each relating to core content from the ASIS PSP reference materials. You will be directed to the relevant parts within the PSP materials, and then self-assessment exams test your understanding of the material. Mock exams are reviewed by the course tutor, who feeds back on areas to study in more detail. Typically, learners complete this course in 4-6 months, but this is entirely down to your personal and professional commitments, and your individual learning style. You’ll have access to the course for a 12 month period, so there’s plenty of time to complete. Suitable for all levels, the training is perfect for those wishing to understand the fundamentals of security. It is designed to provide security managers, supervisors, and those for whom security is one of a number of responsibilities, with the knowledge and confidence necessary to manage a successful security management function. You will learn the fundamentals of security management with an emphasis on risk methodology and designing appropriate security measures. Identifying assets, threats and vulnerabilities leads to the design of physical security countermeasures. Security Coordination and Design - Virtual Classroom - SRF BTEC Level 4 This accredited virtual classroom training course is a comprehensive introduction to the essentials of corporate security management. Suitable for all levels, this training is perfect for those wishing to understand the fundamentals of security. It is designed to provide security managers and those for whom security is one of a number of responsibilities, with the knowledge and confidence necessary to manage a successful security management function. Identifying assets, threats and vulnerabilities leads to the design of physical security countermeasures. The course focuses on the core requirements to secure people and other critical assets, including risk assessments, risk matrix creation, and how to prepare a business case for security provisions to a senior management team. The course is delivered via Zoom with students interacting both with the tutor and each other as required. This is a 5 day course, and will run 09:00 - 17:00 each day.  Private study outside of the virtual classroom may be required. The SRF BTEC Level 4 assessment is completed through a learner workbook, project presentation and trainer evaluation. There is no ‘exam’ as such; assessment is supported by the tutor who is there to ensure you gain the very best learning experience.
