
ASIS PSP® Virtual Boot Camp Course We deliver training to help you get the very best results when you sit your ASIS PSP exam. This virtual classroom course, delivered via Zoom, is designed to assist you in in preparing for the exam by guiding you through the ASIS reference materials and ensuring your understanding of key subject areas. This ASIS PSP® qualification, enhances career prospects by demonstrating knowledge and experience of threat assessment and risk analysis; integrated physical security systems; and the appropriate identification, implementation and ongoing evaluation of security measures. Core content Physical security assessment Application, design and integration of physical security systems Implementation of physical security measures How you will study: virtual boot-camp class (5 days) Days one and two: explanation of the timetable of study and approach required from learners, followed by familiarisation with the learning domains and study materials. Days three and four: explanation and discussion of the different domains, followed by consolidation and testing of learners’ knowledge to identify where further personal revision should be focused. Day five: completion of mock exams followed by feedback and discussion. Upon registering and paying for your place, you will be given access to the online learning platform which hosts the study materials including pre course study materials designed to help guide you through the ASIS reference materials. There are five modules, each relating to core content from the ASIS PSP reference materials. Virtual classroom delivery Please note that you will need a stable internet connection, and a microphone, speakers and webcam. This is so you can fully interact with the class in the same way you would in a face-to-face training setting. Bear in mind time zone differences; our classes are run using GMT time zone. All courses are delivered 09:00 to 17:00 UK time. The afternoon sessions are at your own pace, to complete the mock exams taken on our online learning platform. We recommend you disable your email application when joining live classroom training; this is to minimise any distractions and interruptions, ensuring you are fully focused on the course. As part of this course, you will be given access to the PSP supplementary online material, Modules 1-4, which will assist you in familiarising yourself with the reference materials and terminology covered in the exam and give you opportunities to undertake test exercises prior and post course. About the exam To gain the post-nominals ‘PSP’, you must sit and pass the exam, which is taken at a Prometric test centre. The PSP® exam comprises a maximum 140 multiple choice questions on three domains identified by physical security professionals as the key categories of physical security management. Please note that costs relating to the PSP® exam are not included in the course fees and it is your responsibility to apply for and schedule the exam. You will be directed to the relevant parts within the PSP materials, and then self-assessment exams test your understanding of the material. Mock exams are reviewed by the course tutor, who feeds back on areas to study in more detail. Typically, learners complete this course in 4-6 months, but this is entirely down to your personal and professional commitments, and your individual learning style. You’ll have access to the course for a 12 month period, so there’s plenty of time to complete. ASIS developed the APP certification to recognise those relatively new to the security industry with a Board certification. It is intended for those with one to four years of security management experience. The APP covers four key domains: Security Fundamentals Business Operations Risk Management Response Management We strongly recommend using a laptop or desktop PC for this training; a mobile phone will not give full functionality. This course is delivered 25 - 27 November 2025 - Birmingham, UK Conducting a security survey is an essential skill for security managers, consultants, and other security professionals. Surveying is often fundamental to the design and functionality of a good security provision. This SRF BTEC Level 4 course will teach you how to identify particular threats to your business, premises and staff, and most importantly, how you can protect against them. This 3 day classroom course provides a step-by-step guide to the process of conducting an effective survey. You will leave the course having created and designed a template for conducting your own security surveys, which you can then use at your place of work. During the training, our experienced instructors will guide you through each stage involved in conducting a survey. You will also learn how to use the security survey as part of your ongoing risk analysis and security strategy. Assessment for this BTEC Level 4 Award includes the creation of a portfolio of work, forming the basis of a written assignment.
